You’ll find being an underwriter in one of our businesses is about more than just underwriting a huge range of risks. You’ll be developing commercial products and managing portfolios, while building strong working relationships with our business development, claims and risk management teams. This will ensure that our clients receive the excellent service they expect.

In this team you could be working with customers to help them identify risks and hazards, or developing programmes to prevent and manage those risks. You’ll draw on your knowledge and expertise to offer long-term protection for people and property.

In our supply chain team, you’ll help manage relationships with a range of different contractors to ensure we give clients the best possible service. Those contractors have networks of builders, specialist repairers, legal experts and other professionals who they call on to address our clients’ claims. This means you’ll enjoy a varied, challenging and interesting role.
