Our teams

Technical Underwriting
In our technical team, you could be designing or refining products, or responding to referrals and giving guidance to underwriters. Whatever your role, you’ll be contributing to our key products and services and helping to improve what we deliver to our customers.

Underwriting Operations
Our largest team and the heart of our business, our Underwriters understand the needs of our Brokers and their customers and work with them to ensure that their businesses are protected. Our Core team looks after the majority of our business, with our Bespoke team focusing on our larger risks.

Technology
Our talented team of Developers work across our business to build our systems and products, designing solutions so that we can deliver a high-quality experience to our Brokers and customers.

Finance
In Finance, you’ll help make sure our business runs smoothly for colleagues and customers alike. From writing financial reports and preparing annual budgets, to collecting premiums and broker administration, you’ll help to manage our cashflow effectively.

Distribution
Made up of the Sales and Marketing functions the Distribution team is integral to our operations, focusing on the effective dissemination and promotion of Ansvar's services. Sales is responsible for managing and developing broker relationships across the UK and driving new business to the Underwriting teams. Marketing manages multi-channel marketing activities, including social media, digital advertising, events and exhibition management, blogs and articles, website content, SEO and more.
Brighton Office and Community Hub
Our new office overlooks what was once Brighton’s municipal fruit and veg market in the heart of this dynamic and forward-thinking city. It’s a comfortable, modern office with 270° views of the vibrant city centre, and just a short walk from the iconic pier. It also includes a Community Hub – a free and flexible space for local charities and not-for-profit organisations to use as somewhere to meet and collaborate.
