Our Planet. Our Part.
At Benefact Group, we're committed to taking action on climate change. We recognise the role we can play through how we invest, insure, give and operate, while continuing to reduce our own environmental impact.
Every colleague has a part to play in helping us build a more sustainable future. We are also proud members of ClimateWise, a leading industry initiative driving climate responsibility and action.
In 2023, we donated £250,000 to environmental causes, supporting climate education in schools, the circular economy, water and wetland conservation, regenerative farming, and rewilding projects.

Our roadmap to Net Zero
We believe reducing our carbon impact is the right thing to do. That’s why we’re going further with our plans to remove our historic direct impact by 2030. It’s a bold ambition, but one that we know – with hard work and innovation – is achievable.
For us climate impact is very clearly about:
We don't invest in polluting industries through our sustainable investment policy and we're influencing companies to make better climate decisions.
We don't underwrite the most climate-harming industries and we're working to support our customers to decarbonise.
We give to environment and climate charities tackling a wide range of issues from biodiversity to ensuring a just transition to a decarbonised society.
We're committed to decarbonising our direct operations - the impact of our offices and travel.
Emissions we cannot eradicate, we offset by investing in projects, including planting new forests and restoring depleted farmland.
