The Systems Engineer supports current state solutions to enable the business and to support and protect Ansvar’s technology. The role applies technical expertise to identify and implement initiatives to enable the business to meet strategic objectives. It requires skills in evaluation of products, providers, and security controls, providing recommendations on initiatives, and build upon existing infrastructure to support the changing needs of our business.

You will work both in a team and autonomously through design, development, integration, and implementation, and support every stage of systems lifecycle. The role requires focus on efficiency, high standards of governance practices, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Technology initiatives under managed project framework
  
• Contribute to an effective and efficient IT infrastructure, maintaining high standards of security and change management
• Provide technical support of network and IT infrastructure, including maintenance of all hardware, software and technology equipment
• Monitor and respond to complex service requests, ensuring they are resolved according to SLAs with detail of investigation and resolution recorded in appropriate application

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Demonstrated ability to provide Level 2-3 desktop support within a multi-site organisation
• Strong computer literacy skills, including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, MS Office-365 Windows endpoint environments in Enterprise environments
• Good understanding of networking infrastructure systems, AD Azure, MS Windows Servers, desktop/laptop systems with related peripherals, and applications
• Strong personal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve Company objectives
