About the role

Benefact Group are looking for a Head of Group Actuarial Pricing to join our Gloucester office.

In this role you will lead the Group’s Actuarial Pricing Function, providing strategic leadership, insight and developing pricing sophistication across the Group General Insurance portfolio.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the Group Actuarial Pricing Function, setting strategic direction and developing an established, high performing team.

• Responsibility for model pricing, including oversight of operations in Australia and Canada.

• Oversee technical pricing frameworks across the Group's General Insurance portfolio, ensuring robust governance and compliance.

• Partner across the business to provide actuarial insight to support strategic planning and key business decisions across the Group.

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement with external market insights and enhancing pricing sophistication.

• Support the Group Chief Actuary and contribute to the leadership of the wider Actuarial Function.

What you'll need to have

• Experience of leading and managing successful teams, including coaching to unlock potential.

• Strong influencing skills and a confident communicator.

• Extensive experience of commercial pricing and familiarity with personal lines techniques. Hx experience an advantage.

• Qualified Actuary or equivalent, with deep market and industry knowledge.

• Adheres to the highest level of professional and ethical standards.
