We are looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO to join Ansvar Insurance in our Melbourne office. Competitive salary, excellent benefits and hybrid working.

The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a critical role in supporting the effective operation of the CEO’s office. This role is responsible for managing priorities, coordinating communications, and ensuring executive and governance activities run smoothly and efficiently.
You will work closely with the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team and the Board. This is a hands-on executive support role that combines sound judgement, discretion and the ability to build effective working relationships with practical, day to day delivery.

What you'll be doing
Manage the CEO’s diary, priorities, commitments and competing demands
Ensure the CEO is well prepared for key decisions and engagements through coordination of high-quality briefing materials, papers and presentations
Manage communications and correspondence on behalf of the CEO with sound judgement, professionalism and discretion
Coordinate travel and day to day logistics for the CEO office
Coordinate Executive Leadership Team meetings, including agendas, papers, actions and follow ups
Support Company Secretary activities, including preparation and distribution of Board and Committee packs
Act as a coordination point between the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board and Benefact Group stakeholders
Coordinate practical meeting and event requirements, including room bookings, technology set-up, materials and organising catering and refreshments
Anticipate upcoming priorities and practical requirements and manage them proactively
This role includes a mix of high trust executive coordination and practical office support. The successful candidate will be comfortable owning both
What you'll need to have
Significant experience supporting a CEO, Executive Director or senior C suite leader
Experience coordinating executive or Board meetings, papers and actions
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and executive office tools
Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
High levels of discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential matters
A proactive, practical mindset and willingness to manage both complex and routine tasks
