About the role
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst is a critical role responsible for securing the Ansvar infrastructure by implementing the right technical security controls. The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will oversee the daily operations of IT Security systems and processes, ensuring the uptime, reliability and effectiveness of these processes. Accountabilities include coordinating appropriate coverage of critical services, leading response to new security threats, incident response, and investigation of possible breaches.
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will ensure that all operational aspects of information security align with Ansvar policies, business requirements and risk position. The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will champion the IT environment for all domains of security, focusing on both technical and business IT Security.

What you'll be doing
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats proactively.
- Lead risk assessments, coordinate vulnerability scans and penetration testing, and drive remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain cyber policies, incident response playbooks, and security frameworks.
- Advise stakeholders and conduct training to elevate cyber awareness across the organisation.
- Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance to strengthen our first line of cyber defence.
- Work as part of a global team delivering a global strategic cyber security posture.
What you'll need to have
- 5+ years’ experience in cyber or information security, ideally in financial services or insurance
- Hands-on expertise with SIEM, EDR, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Strong communication skills: able to advise, train, influence, and articulate risk to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities.
