As Supplier Auditor you will drive excellence through Ecclesiastical’s outsourced claims supplier and broker arrangements, evaluating external services providers' processes, quality and cost control measures, alongside regulatory compliance.

What you'll be doing
- Deliver a risk based audit and evaluation programme across Ecclesiastical Claim Suppliers and Delegated Authority Brokers to ensure that cost targets and customer service outcomes are achieved across claims.
- Reviewing documentation and records to ensure suppliers adhere to contractual obligations, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
- Assessment of speed and fairness of the customer service provided by each external provider, aligned towards both PRA and FCA’s focus on achieving good customer outcomes and ensuring that any customer vulnerabilities or risk of Intolerable Harm are identified and have been addressed within a prompt and timely manner.
- Tracking supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with suppliers to implement corrective actions, including participation in strategic business review and reporting across internal stakeholders.
- Preparing audit reports on a timely basis, documenting findings, and communicating recommendations to relevant stakeholders which can be utilised as part of continuous improvement, and future strategy development including enhanced processes or technology available within the market.
What you'll need to have
- A full UK Drivers Licence as this role will include regular travel.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, including knowledge of SS2/21 (Supplier & Outsourcing).
- Experience with auditing methodologies and tools with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple audits, track progress, and meet deadlines, with strong written and verbal communication for clear and concise reporting.
- Bringing new ideas and innovations to continually reduce costs and improve the customer journey.
- Dip CII, or equivalent with progression towards ACII / FCII Qualified with Insurance experience or other relevant qualifications.
