Receptionist
We are looking for a Receptionist to join Lycetts in our Newcastle head office. Competitive salary and excellent benefits.


Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working pattern: Alternate weekly shifts (Week 1: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Week 2: 9:00am – 5:00pm)
About the role
Lycetts Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Receptionist to join our Newcastle Upon Tyne office.
As the first point of contact for visitors, clients and colleagues, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Combining reception duties with a range of administrative responsibilities, you'll help ensure operations run efficiently, delivering excellent service and support across the business from our modern, city-centre office with close transport links.

What you'll be doing
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and welcoming reception service.
Managing incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate teams and colleagues.
Supporting the day-to-day administration of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment.
Coordinating meeting rooms, visitor arrangements, post, deliveries and courier services to support the smooth running of the office.
Maintaining reception and communal areas to a high standard, creating a positive experience for visitors and employees.
Assisting with administrative tasks including document preparation, data entry, filing and record management.
Supporting colleagues across the business with ad hoc administrative and office support activities.
Ordering and monitoring office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service and contribute to the smooth running of the office.
What you'll need to have
Strong communication skills
Excellent personal interaction skills, the role will include interactions with clients and colleagues based in Newcastle and beyond.
Experience of data input
Appropriate IT skills
