We are looking for a Head of Branch to join Community in our Tiverton office. Competitive salary, excellent benefits and hybrid working.


Salary: Starting from £55,000.00 (depending on experience) + benefits
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role
Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Head of Community Broking Tiverton to join our Community Broking team in our Tiverton office.
Established in 2003, Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking Tiverton are a highly regarded broker with a strong reputation for delivering tailored insurance solutions across Farming & Agriculture and Commercial Insurance.
As the Head of Community Broking Tiverton, you'll play a key role in leading the branch's continued growth and success. Using your insurance expertise and commercial knowledge, you'll drive business strategy, support and develop your team, and build lasting relationships with our clients and the local community.
The Head of Community Broking Tiverton will be a visible and proactive leader, supporting your team whilst identifying new business opportunities, networking across the local area, and conducting meaningful client review meetings to ensure we continue delivering exceptional service. What you'll be doing
Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a client-first culture through coaching, performance management and continuous professional development.
Drive sustainable business growth and retention by delivering the local business plan, maximising sales opportunities and ensuring achievement of branch KPIs.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the branch, ensuring effective use of people, processes and resources to deliver operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and underwriting standards, while maintaining strong technical and market knowledge.
Support strategic business objectives through continuous improvement initiatives, community engagement and key project delivery.
What you'll need to have
Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance.
Proven experience in and expert knowledge of the UK commercial insurance industry.
Confident ability to communicate, manage relationships and build rapport with clients face to face to provide an excellent client experience.
Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focused environment.
Resourceful, organised and deadline driven with good time management and self-motivation.
