Account Handler
We are looking for an Account Handler to join Community Broking in our Llanelli office. Competitive salary, excellent benefits and hybrid working.


Salary: Starting from £26,000.00 (depending on experience)
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role
Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Account Handler to join our Community Broking team in their Llanelli office.
As a Account Handler you will provide exceptional service and advice to clients in order to maximise client satisfaction, achieving new business and related product income targets, maintaining the highest retention levels in support of the overall business strategy and handling mid-term adjustments, queries and claims in a timely professional and accurate manner.

What you'll be doing
Achieve agreed KPIs, meet workflow standards, maintain accurate activity logs, and ensure strong new‑business, retention, claims and client money collection.
Provide holistic insurance reviews, manage client relationships, attend meetings/exhibitions, handle complex referrals/underwriting, and stay current on products, trends and market opportunities
Coach colleagues, support competency development, assist with workflow organisation, promote company values, and ensure consistent, compliant processes including call/file assessments
Work across teams to maximise new and existing business opportunities, share market insights, identify new products/introducers, and escalate issues appropriately.
Champion Treating Customers Fairly, ensure excellent service outcomes, support complaint handling requirements, and maintain clear, timely communication with clients throughout claims and service interactions.
What you'll need to have
Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience
Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focused environment
Highly organised, analytical and detail driven, able to manage deadlines, support the wider team, embrace new challenges and proactively influence positive outcomes and opportunities
Creative and effective in helping to shape the team to focus on service, quality standards and efficiency
