Controls Consultant (Outside IR35)
We are looking for a Controls Consultant contractor (Outside IR35) to join Benefact Group in our Gloucester office until the end of March 2027.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Duration: Day rate contract until the end of March 2027

About the role
Benefact Group are looking for a Controls Consultant contractor (Outside IR35) to join our Gloucester office until the end of March 2027.
Contract purpose: To deliver the documentation, assessment and refinement of the Benefact Group plc Material Controls and supporting Key Controls in support of the Provision 29 declarations to be included in the Year End 2026 Annual Report & Accounts.

Key deliverables
Documentation of Key and Material Controls consistent with Benefact Group Control Standards by EO September 2026
Validate and Assure First Line Control Assessments to Inform 1st Draft
Delivery of Material Controls Assessment and Disclosure Recommendations to Board by February 2027
Design and Deliver workshops, training and consultancy support to Material & Key Control owners to uplift Benefact Group plc Organisational Capabilities ongoing through to March 2027
With Support from Contract Controls Administrator, Design and Deliver a Key Controls Library / Tool to enable tracking of the identified controls and align to bottom-up articulations
Considerations
It is expected that the contract will be delivered in line with the documented policies and standards (e.g. control definitions) of Benefact Group plc.
It is expected that the Final Report will be the product of the Benefact Group plc and therefore subject to direction from the Group Risk Function in terms of format and content design.
It is expected that progress and reporting on the contract will be supplied to the Project Steering Group on a regular basis with ongoing participation in project Working Group.
