Benefact Group are looking for a Group Procurement IT Specialist to join our Gloucester office.
As a Group Procurement IT Specialist, you will lead effective supplier and contract management that supports strategic procurement, drives cost efficiency, and ensures compliance with regulatory and risk requirements.

What you'll be doing
Supplier and Contract Oversight: Manage stakeholder relationships, leading supplier selection and monitoring, and ensure contract accuracy and completeness.
Strategic Procurement and Tendering: Lead tender processes, coordinate supplier responses, and manage contract drafting and due diligence.
Cost Optimisation and Budgeting: Identify cost-saving opportunities, support budget holders with expense planning, and track savings through contract management plans.
Risk and Compliance Management: Assess contract risks, monitor supplier credit ratings, and ensure adherence to the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Framework and regulatory reporting.
Regulatory Requirements: Ensure critical third parties are identified and have completed the SRM Framework to the regulatory requirements. Horizon scanning to ensure future regulations are scoped and planned into future supplier management activities.
What you'll need to have
IT Procurement experience (including transitioning to cloud services and IT managed support contracts)
Strong negotiation skills utilised with suppliers to drive the best value out of contracts.
Proven ability to identify risks to the group and in-depth knowledge of the due diligence process to mitigate these.
Confident in managing stakeholders at all levels and providing appropriate challenge.
Proven ability to lead tender processes within IT services, managing stakeholders’ expectations and meeting requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the various regulations required for critical / important contracts, including PRA SS2/21 Material Outsourcing and Third Party Risk Mgt, PRA SS1/21 Operational Resilience, FCA Rulebook, EIOPA DORA, CBI Guidance on Outsourcing and EBA Outsourcing to Cloud
