About the role
Ecclesiastical Planning Services, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Compliance and Risk Analyst to join our Gloucester office.
The Compliance and Risk Analyst will support the Head of Compliance & Risk (SMF16) and the Compliance & Risk Manager (Compliance & Risk Management) with the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the regulated environment within EPSL.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting Compliance & Risk Management with the ongoing maintenance of FCA regulation of the funeral plan market
- Providing clear and practical explanation, advice, and guidance on regulatory compliance matters to the wider business
- Feeding analytical findings back into the creation of Risk & Compliance specific training modules and present these to the first line
- Supporting Compliance & Risk Management in conducting oversight and monitoring work, as per the EPSL Annual Oversight and Assurance plan. This includes ensuring results are accurately recorded and relevant feedback is delivered to the first line in a timely manner
- Supporting Compliance & Risk Management with producing accurate and prompt reporting when required. Championing Consumer Duty across EPSL and its network to deliver great customer outcomes
What you'll need to have
- Familiar with FCA regulation, including Business Principles and Consumer Duty
- Experience in regulatory linked areas such as complaints handling, incident reporting and quality assurance - Essential
- Experience of first and second line risk environments, including championing a positive risk management culture - Essential
- Experience in leading on compliance monitoring activities and feeding results into regular, formal reporting - Essential
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence a wide variety of stakeholders internally & externally
