Ecclesiastical are looking for a Strategic Relationship Manager to join our Sales & Distribution team. This is a homebased role covering a National panel of Brokers.

About the role
Ecclesiastical are looking for a Strategic Relationship Manager to join our Sales & Distribution team.
At a national level you'll manage a panel of strategic broker relationships and taking a long-term outlook you’ll develop mutually beneficial strategies ensuring business alignment between the partner and Ecclesiastical is maximized. Through delivery of these strategic plans you’ll drive profitable growth and retention and internally you’ll share your knowledge of the partners with colleagues to support the creation and development of regional and business unit specific activity

Key responsibilities
- Establish, monitor and maintain development plans for all Strategic partners on panel.
- Provide support to strategic relationship owners regionally by creating a continuous feedback loop and supporting the creation and develop of regional plans
- Lead the negotiation of supplemental business agreements.
- Ensure Strategic partners comply deliver services and objectives set out in account plans and fee for service schedules.
- Engage with colleagues across EIO to leverage these relationships and ensure agreed strategies are implemented effectively
- Acting within Ecclesiastical’ s risk appetite: target, win and retain business in our core market sectors, delivering profitable growth in line with plan through:
- Prospecting, including utilising and growing CRM pipeline
- Planning and delivering agreed activity levels
- Delivering a high-quality sales process
- Driving profitable new business growth
- Supporting renewal process
- Represent all area’s of EIO, Regions, A&PC , Real Estate and Schemes.
- Work proactively with colleagues in the technical support functions (claims, Risk and Underwriting) to deliver exceptional service and propositions to our brokers and their customers
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Strong track record in a commercial insurance sales role within the UK market
- Track record of working with Global and National brokers at a national level
- Highly credible and commercially focussed with a strong reputation for delivery and service.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships internally and externally
- Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills
- Knowledge of tactical marketing campaigns and ability to identify such opportunities
