About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the marketing team at Lycetts Insurance Brokers and Financial Services in Norfolk or in our Newcastle Head Office.
The marketing team, which works across the Lycetts Group’s range of offices and brands, are looking for a Marketeer to join their excellent team in Norfolk. The position could suit someone with 3-7 years marketing, finance or insurance industry experience. Candidates with a background in farming, equine or specific marketing specialisms will also be considered. The role will be based in Norfolk or Newcastle and will involve some travel within England and Scotland to events that we are exhibiting at. The role would particularly suit someone interested in the rural/high net worth community.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of the national events schedule
- Conceive and develop efficient and effective marketing strategies/campaigns
- Maintain relationships with affinity groups to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
- Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance, making the necessary adjustments
- Draft and design marketing materials such as leaflets, brochures and posters
- Liaise with creative and PR agency, suppliers, printers and designers
- Write copy for use in client communications
- Work with the team to manage social media activity
- Support website management and development
- Ensure consistency of brand positioning
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Good confident communication skills – both written & oral
- Ability to build good relationships with colleagues and suppliers
- Good organisational ability
- Well-presented, hard-working, pro-active team player with initiative
- Insurance, Finance or marketing qualifications would be ideal
Advantageous Attributes
- Knowledge of design packages such as Canva and Adobe and willingness to give an opinion on design elements
- Experience managing email campaigns utilising packages such as Mailchimp or CampaignMaster
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Buffer
- Experience of living or working within the rural or high net worth community
