About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Commercial Account Executive to join our business Lansdown Insurance Brokers in Cheltenham.

You will provide excellent customer service, take full ownership and responsibility of your workload, working closely with the team to achieve growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate and profitably sell business within own authority and in line with Lansdown’s strategy
• Plan, prioritise and manage individual own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Use the appropriate method of communication to support Lansdown’s right first-time approach in order to maintain successful Internal and External relationships.
• Understand and operate within regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business
• To service existing Lansdown clients – Commercial and Residential Property
• To assist in the growth of Lansdown - New Business and Renewals
• To achieve set targets agreed upon
• Any other duties required from time to time

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Excellent, professional and confident communication skills
• Proven sales ability
• Flexibility to manage your workload
• Ability to develop relationships with clients, agents, insurers etc.
• Ability to construct effective written communications
• Work well within a team especially under pressure
• Confident numeracy skills

• Qualified Cert CII or commitment to work towards within an agreed timescale
• Market, Industry and Company knowledge
