About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up to lead the Business Analysis and Project Management teams within the Group Technology department. While the organisation depends on the delivery of technology change to achieve its objectives, we want this individual to provide oversight to all Technology delivery, work closely with colleagues and suppliers to resolve issues with more complex change as well as supporting the department in changing the way we work.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the teams of Technology Business Analysts and Project Managers who are focussed on the delivery of technology change.
- Identify, measure and improve on KPIs designed to track the quality of deliverables from the team.
- Collaborate with the Business Change Analysis team to align resources and enable a transition of work between teams.
- Manage the relationship of defined delivery partners
- Identify and implement ongoing improvements in the way suppliers and internal group technology delivers change – to ensure improvement in quality and timeliness of delivery
- Ensure productive collaboration between key strategic delivery partners, Group Technology and the change delivery programme
- Collaborate with colleagues across Group Technology to enable the delivery and transition of technology change in BAU by managing the resolution of department blockages\obstacles and establishing go forward solutions
- Manage the prioritisation, allocation, capacity management and tracking of all Group Technology change work.
- Where appropriate, represent Group Technology on various project and change forums
- Identify, document and manage the risks associated to bringing new technology into BAU
- Collaborate with Group Technology colleagues to ensure the appropriate application of delivery methodologies, including the impact on the SDLC, with the goal of delivering enabling colleagues to work with agility and empowerment within a controlled environment
- Identify technology change that may impact on existing Data Protection processes and facilitate the production and agreement of any resulting DPIA
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Proven experience of effective collaboration across a number of teams to deliver objectives and plans within agreed timescales, demonstrating effective leadership skills and the ability to quickly gain credibility
- Experience of senior stakeholder management internally and externally
- A track record of developing strong working relationships with a wide number of stakeholders, internal and external
- Experience of delivery complex programmes of work
- Proven experience of managing multiple teams of diverse skillsets and experience
- Experience of working with external offshore suppliers.
